Yanmar Pleasure Boat Marine Engine Help
The Authors of this site are: Dick Tucker & Dave Swain.
Dick has now relinquished the running of the site. Thanks go to Dick for all the hard work he's put in developing, building and running this site for the last 3 years.
Dick was the Yanmar Diesel Engine Service and Warranty Manager for
the New Zealand distributor, Power and Marine, from 1990 to 2000. Prior
to that he was the Service Manager for a competitor, subsequently absorbed
by P&M, who sold Bukh, Vetus, Sabre, BMW, MTU, Merlin, Perkins and
Ruggerini marine engines in NZ and the Pacific area. P&M has divested
itself of the other engine brands and concentrated on taking YANMAR
to the number one position in the marketplace, a task made easier
by the broad horsepower range and reliability of the engine.
Dave has now taken over the running of the site (as of March 2004) & will be responsible for posting all new site content & updates.
